Our Philosophy

We consider ethos to be the most important aspect of our school, providing the essential basis for learning. We consistently strive to ensure we have a very positive, welcoming ethos where children feel safe, secure, valued and happy to learn. We believe this aids effective access to the curriculum.

We believe children need to be placed at the heart of their learning and that creative, independent thinking is central to independent learning. We strive to prepare children for a life in an ever changing world, by fostering skills that develop and equip them for whatever the future may hold.

At Sea View Community Primary School all children have access to a broad, balanced, creative and relevant curriculum with high levels of support and challenge. We celebrate the diversity within in our school and ensure success is valued. We endeavour to foster positive attitudes to learning. All children are challenged to extend themselves and to achieve their potential. We are proud of the experiences and opportunities provided at our school, through promoting professional expertise
